Hello beautiful human

I am a highly sensitive person.

Growing up, I felt different than other people. Quiet and introverted, I loved books and time in nature. In addition to these attributes, there were challenges. Social interaction was often overstimulating and I felt anxious that others might judge me. As a result, I avoided groups, and over time, this left me lonely. In my twenties, I was—to the outside world—a successful doctoral student. However, on the inside, I was coming to terms with the difficulties of my early life, and this, combined with limited social support, led me into a depression.

Reading Dr. Elaine Aron’s book The Highly Sensitive Person, was enormously helpful. I began to understand my differences and my gifts. In addition, I began meditating, reading self-help books, and seeking out supportive relationships. I was determined to understand myself and heal from the insecurities I had carried with me since childhood. Psychosynthesis played a key role in acquiring the skills I needed to flourish.

After completing my Ph.D. in Sustainability, I decided my most meaningful work involves helping people grow and live the lives they most value. That is why I am here—to help you overcome your challenges and live the life you most want.

“I worked with Erica as a coach for a number of months. I was consistently touched by her natural ability to empathize and hold space for the things I was experiencing. There was never a point in our sessions where I didn’t feel seen as my authentic Self. Working with Erica led to developing much healthier habits in my daily life. I’d recommend Erica to anyone searching for a life coach with a softer approach, and the desire to manifest a real sense of love and peacefulness in their daily life.”

Fun facts about me:

  • I have always been a foreigner. I was the Argentinean girl while living in Bolivia, and the Bolivian girl when I visited family in Argentina. In the USA, I’m the Argentinean-Bolivian who loves sustainability. I know what it feels like to be an outsider and how to build a community of trusted friends.
  • I have experienced being a white person in Bolivia, and a person of color in the USA. I know what it is like to live a life with white privilege and not be aware of it. I also know how confusing and unfair society can be when it perceives you as “less than” other people because you are different from them.
  • One of my life-long interests is how to be a better human being. I’m drawn to topics of the LGBTQ community. I strive to be a safe person for anybody who doesn’t fit into society’s traditional standards.
  • I use the pronoun she/her.
  • I’m bilingual (English and Spanish).
  • I’m a dancer!
  • I’m mom to a little human and a dog.
